To tackle this, I implemented a few key adjustments:

  1. Added a Secondary CTA that was more intent-driven, directly addressing the needs of the target audience.

  2. Refined the Titles on the website to align better with local search behavior, making them more relevant to the specific needs of potential customers.

  3. Optimized Messaging to speak directly to their pain points, ensuring that visitors would not only see the service but feel compelled to take the next step.

Once I made these changes, the website was much more engaging, and the messaging was aligned with what local customers were searching for. The new CTA, refined titles, and aligned messaging all worked together to boost CTR.

The changes paid off almost immediately. After implementing the secondary CTA and refining the messaging, the CTR jumped significantly. Here’s a snapshot of the improved performance:

  • Before the changes: The CTR was only 0.4%, with inconsistent clicks.

  • After the changes, The CTR improved to 2.6%, leading to 374 clicks from 14.6K impressions.

As you can see from the screenshot, the Total Clicks increased to 374, and the Average CTR jumped to 2.6%. This was a big win because not only did the clicks increase, but the quality of the leads also improved. Instead of just passive visibility, the website was now receiving qualified inbound leads ready to engage with the cleaning services.
